Moderate snowfall here, it's struggling to settle though, can't understand why?

Becoming quite misty/foggy now here, still not had even a flake of snow! We seem to be stuck in a gap at the moment with snow both sides but never actually reaching us.

Hi Posthill Wanderer

Im a bit further up the hill maybe??

Live in a private cul-de-sac and even the road covered now. Certainly looking better.

Perhaps this is intensifying a tad? Have moved back in to the conservatory as was annoying the missus curtain twitching blum.gif

noticed a few slightly brighter echoes on the radar..maybe it will turn heavier as it rides further into the cold air... has anyone seen the chart from the meto model run for friday ? hoping that comes to fruitionhelp.gif

The current situation is we've taken the Christmas tree out of the garage and placed it on the grass, so when it's covered in snow we can stand next to it and say it's Lapland.

Amazing....

What doesn't help is tree won't stand up and no-one wanted to leave the warm house to take a picture of me in Lapland Alaska.

Fine covering here, coming down very light but its sticking, especially in the areas that have avoided the sun today.

Even when its bucketing down never really a problem in the city whereas the surrounding suburbs can be vastly different.

Have a good meeting matey. Plenty of hotels if you get snowed in....blum.gif

Fairly steady snow and finally settling on most surfaces except roads / paths etc. Looking at the radar maybe another hour or two of snow to come before the front fizzles away SE. Still looking for tomorrow though looking at the latest NAE just in;

What kind of temps or Dew points are people recording at the moment?

I'm recording 0.7C with dew point of 0.5C. Wish it would drop but seems to be sticking at that!
