Just had a glance at the model thread. Seems very downbeat on there. Is it true that the cold spell has been downgraded . Or is it just a south downgrade. Hope us in the north and East get a good dumping.

The Met Office forecasts have ice days on 2 days for my back yard and many other places from the Midlands northwards, probably a load of IMBY nonsense posts from people in the SE.

Just snizzle here really, with nothing significant to report - though Dews and temps are OK, just seems that either the main ppn hasn't made it this far yet, or it's fragmenting a bit now.

Well it started to snow about 16:30 and was pretty pathetic until about 19:30 when things improved. Since then the total has come to about an inch although there must have been heavy snow on the back of it because the road finally gave in and got covered.

Looking forward to the heavier snow tommorow morning.

morning all, light covering here and still light snow falling, not seen a tv forecast yet but met office forecast on the website has snow for here all day, although remaining mostly light. hope everyone who wants snow gets at least a bit,
