According to the NW radar, micro-snow is continuing here. Lampost outside begs to differ.......fool.gif

Woah! Some serious ppn totals there!

*Edited* because I can't read!

still, 13, 14 or 15 cm would be the best snow here since Dec 2010.

I think it's looking more and more likely that the east of our region will see the most snow tonight and tommorow, along with ground above 100/150 metres in other parts.

Not overly confident now as we have moderate snow here not even settling apart from on cars.

It has been snowing lightly but steadily here just north of Skipton into the Dales park. I'm at 700ft asl.

Perhaps 5-7cm on grass and cars, not a lot settling on the roads at present but they've been gritting like mad.

Woah! Some serious ppn totals there! Am I seeing 50mm totals over the North York Moors and Yorkshire Wolds? Over 30mm over parts of the Lincs Wolds and good totals for the eastern Pennines too.

I wish mate, its showing 13/14/15 etc :p

ok can someone maybe shed some light as to why on the METO for tomorrow it is now only showing sleet at 9am and light snow at 12pm then thats it until Thursday even though we are under an amber warning, and that forecast does not reflect the charts i am really getting confused, will it be right? or am a right in thinking they are a little off lol

What kind of temps or Dew points are people recording at the moment?

I'm recording 0.7C with dew point of 0.5C. Wish it would drop but seems to be sticking at that!

0.9C with a dew point of -1 according to wunderground.

Snowing a bit more now and the radar is looking a little better.

Things have pepped up a little, band to the n/w has intensified a little over the last 15mins or so. Tmorrow looking ok as well, looks like we could be in the sweeter spot so to speak.

Latest BBC forecast suggest 1-2 cm for West Yorkshire Monday AM, possibly 5+cm for Eastern areas, disappointing tbh..
