Oh and im normaly up at 5ish for work every morning, day off today and still woke at 5!

Not sure whether I'm in the south east or central southern area, but in northeast Hampshire it started snowing very lightly at about 6.30am. It is lying immediately and starting to get a bit heavier. The signs are very good. Hoping to get 15cm from this but will be happy with 8-10cm.

Good morning my snow buds i hope you all had some sort of sleep overnight?

I went off to sleep about 1am and just woken up so that will do as we now are not that far away from our main event thus far in our winter.

Snow on and off for the next 3 days at least by the looks of things something tells me we are going to need some heavy supplies of red bulls or coffee to slug this out.

Tough one, in london a couple of cms 's of snow falling quickly can bring traffic to a standstill so hard to say.

I think it will start slowly though so may be able to judge when it's getting too bad an leave in time?
