It sounds like I'll be heading to work in the snow tomorrow again as I'm working the afternoon shift!

Your not having much luck. Remember to hitch that ride with the gritter.

Only 2cm of snow tomorrow, so I don't think I'll have any trouble driving around our region, so at least I'll be paid. As the wife just so poetically put it, "2cm wouldn't even justify her putting her make-up on."

We are beginning to see steady upgrades to the amount of energy heading WNW out of the Thames Estuary as the day goes on. From left to right, here's the 6z, 12z and 18z prognosis:

This has lead to a steady increase in forecast totals through the day:

Of course this could all be wrong from the NAE, and I would hazard a guess it must be the UKV that is suggesting the smaller totals being put forward in current BBC forecasts, but given the raw NAE output, i'm struggling to see 2-4cms as the final outcome

SK

Well mate you was right last night when you posted the NAE, so good luck with this one, looks great!

A few more charts to throw into the mix for tomorrow. These are the ECM PPN charts for tomorrow ( I've put them in 6 hour intervals though they can be viewed in 3 hour intervals too):

Generally a good few cm across this region. Seems the heaviest snow will be in a line from N Cambs extending SE Essex,Suffolk.

Looks like most of the region can expect a decent amount. Not sure where Gary R. Walker is getting his 2cm from...

I am personally looking forward to tomorrow more than I was Fridays event, it was painful watching that front edging over, and I know some places close to me got next to nothing, we ended up with 5cm and although we have had fun was not epic! BUT if we have another 5 to 10cm tomorrow on top of the frozen snow, then could be good!
