And still it falls from the sky in Bexley. Epic day today. Not looking forward to tomorrow's journey into London though. Major disruption on all lines at the moment,

In the sweet spot here in North East London (Woodford Green)

Not stopped all day and still coming down strong! smile.png

I'm just down the road from you in Ilford, and yeh it does seem we've been one of the sweet spots!

Interested to see how Greater Anglia manage tomorrow. Power lines damages ATM on the Cambridge line.

Sorry but still new to this if the low head south would that mean all the snow would come back and continue through the night

Not very likely I'm afraid, will most likely drift NW, but there is another LP coming in from the SW which will probably absorb the LP moving across the SE. Where the snow will be is going to be very difficult to forecast in the coming days.

Right official Southend depth is an average 6cm.

Crazy Diamond how did you do?

Can't believe it just stayed as pathetic snizzle all day in Shoebury. Just a few miles east of you yet I doubt there is 3cm in total. Not even enough to make me want to go down to East Beach and use my new camera. Well, that and the fact that I am still reading the manual! Will have a measure in the back garden in the morning, but not looking hopeful...

We now have clear skies here, and the snow is glistening in the light, a beautiful sight to behold...it's going to be mayhem out there tomorrow though.

Just about stopped in Groombridge now (SW of Tunbridge Wells), so the back edge should reach you soon.

Final depth after 11 hrs of powdery snow is 13cm.

How do I upload photos?

As I asked the same question yesterday and got help, I will try and help you now. Go to 'my reply options' on the left bottom side of your post and where you see 'browse' select your picture from wherever you have saved it from and then click on 'attach this file'. Then you are done. Hope that helpssmile.png

It is kind of self instructing once you start uploading the pic

How do I upload photos?

From iPad or phone use photobucket app it's simple and easy to use and then just copy and paste the IMG code into your post.

I would like to see a snow map with members depths.

Feel a bit mugged here lol.

Looks like those closer to London done better than SE Essex, which is the reverse of what was predicted!!
