according to the radar it shows alot of heavy ppn across the NW. http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ I dont know how it got here.

Got about 5cm here and school are closed.

I just wish the school would say they were closed - my son has got to go out in 10 minutes if it's open, to catch the bus! And now the website has gone down :(

its dying out slowly but if the stuff out east stays alive then a couple of hours mate

Just woke up - wooohoooooooooo!! Nw radar says sleet here but no way. Got def inch and plenty to come. Get in u beauty!!!!!!! What do meto know??!!

Just got up... day off, got over an inch fell. Roads clear ATM. Checked security cam and it started sticking about 6 or just after. Not checked radar yet but

moderate to heavy at the moment. Temp dropped from 3c at 1am to currently 0.9.. Seems to be the wet stuff as roads and pavements no covering just

wet..

Just watched the latest BBC uk Forcast what a load of s**t its like we dont exist.

Do they not look at radar and weather station obsevations before they forcast???

delighted here.not been out as yet as getting ready for work, but got a total covering again and estimate at the very least an inch,but thats being conservative

Tell a lie, intensity increased in the last 30 min, road and pavement now covered, radar seems to indicate it fragmenting. hopefully it wont turn to rain.

Heavy here now, sticking nicely now got about 2 cm. Apparently it's quite deep in Southport.
