Woke up to a nice covering in preston, but looks similar to fridays snow tbh. Nothing major

The northwest seems to have as much snow as the northeast without the thawing problems, many members east of Pennines reporting sleet and rain some of them are gutted.

Poor Meto forecast all round. 3cms of dry snow her but some parts of cumbria reporting 10cms again a crap forecast by the Meto. I always thought a total Pennines block was unlikely, they rely on computers to much which tend to oversimplify things.

Still moderate snow temp 0.5c

No melt where i live, we've had laying snow for the last week i think the melting has been in large towns/cities and very low down.

Well i just woke up again and we have 4" on the floor of fresh snow. I think the kids wont be in school today lol

Just got inthe garded and our washing line is 4" thicker and out telephone pole cable is t foot of the floor with all the heavy snow on it lol

Probably not even an inch of wet snow near Warrington, either some of the measurements elsewhere are massively overestimated or this area has missed out, but after having some of the better coverage on Friday what goes around comes around.
