Game on -all settling- keeping me awake now-really heavy also - brill - all white again

Really wet in scunny. Going to take some real heavy snow to get this to really pay off!

Just didn't strt well here and it still seems to be not fully snow, still a mixture of rain in it

Quite wet, fine snow in Chapeltown/Potternewton but driving hard - but needs to pep up with some fatter flakes to really accumulate. Hopefully it will do from now on..

Looks like the meaty part of the front is being dragged and forced round nicely to blitz Yorkshire.

Very heavy PPN but it's an awful mix of rain, sleet and snow. Only a very fine dusting on cars and most of the snow on roofs has gone!

Hopefully this will change soon. Muffelchen you're in Beverley and at a lower altitude than me so it must mean I have some good stuff on the way! (I'm in Pocklington)

Plenty of heavy PPN showing on the radar which will hopefully hit us soon.Rather disappointing so far though.

North Yorks... prepare yourself!! Big snow totals coming across inland and higher ground areas there, possibly 15-25cms coming up- I expect all of Yorkshire and North Lincs to see light/mod snow for at least a 4-6 hour period, the further north and east, the snowier.

York is surprising to hear rain and sleet- it's turning a lot heavier there over the next few hrs, so hopefully that turns to heavy snow.

Yep this is getting better all the time....

Absolutely knackered and will miss the best overnite I'm sure but will give it half an hour more.

Wind really drifting the snow here now as we are fairly exposed.....biggrin.png

still snowing here - and we've got blowing snow in a strong ENE wind - it took a while to turn from sleet to snow, but we've got a really good covering at the moment, even on the main road out the front, and despite the passing gritters. I was a bit trepidatious about this, but the radar looks good, and it'll be tough on the cross-wolds routes tomorrow morning.

complete white out looks fantastic, still coming down and don't think we have seen the worst yet!

Still light/moderate here. Doesn't seem to want to pep up
