forgot to say I drove past the bottom of Andy hill while waiting for my daughter and I bet it was snowing big time on the top as it was sticking even down the bottom, so he probs be coming down that hill on his snow mobile in the morn ha ha.even though it is snowing here and im quite high up I think by the sounds east is having all the very heavy stuff, and in this area anywhere under 200m it is not sticking.

Fantastic flakes of white stuff belting down in Cardiff! :)

We'd more or less thawed this afternoon. The pavement and roads are quite slushy, but cars have a good inch or so on them. If this keeps up all night we'll have a lovely covering.

Still snowing here, settling nicely on top of car which has given a nice dusting, but not on other surfaces, cannot tell if it helping lying snow build or is thawing it.

I was thinking this also, im on mobile now and cant see radar can we expect any heavier bursts this far west ? Just one heavy shower will do.

We had a constant shower here also with a good dusting at one point seems to have thawed a little however but still got the dusting on the road in places also, and still snowing ever so lightly.

Can we have 6 hours?

Just walked my mrs to a pick up point for a council 4x4 to pick her up - boy is it windy, cold and easy 5 -6 inches of fresh snow and starting to drift.

There is a lot of heavier precipitation in the mix pivoting around the low pressure, very difficult to know what will happen by morning. Might just get something.

It does seem further NW than forecast.

Amazed you arnt getting snow settling that high!!

I think it depends where in maesteg,if you are up croserw you be getting snow but down cwmfelin it may be wet snow, I have travelled tonight and from what I have seen its either east heavier snow or height for dry snow.but that may only be for what I have seen.
