I'm starting to get GREATLY concerned about Saturday's "Perfect Storm", is anyone else picking up on this at the moment?

Not too sure what you mean here by "Perfect Storm" - I see some wind & some rain. A slight exaggeration there!

The snow risk has jumped up from 9% to 40% on Friday. http://www.netweathe...l-it-snow;sess=

Blimey. The places that have not thawed at all or very little may get all-snow event on Friday but other places are pretty much a snow to rain thing. Looks like the below have names of members present are back on.

Perhaps because the weather is getting boring next week. (sighs)

Got a dusting from those snow showers they weren't heavy but enough to cover up some of the surfaces that have thawed out. Just need the temp to fall a fraction from 0.3c to preserve it.

Not much, just said 2-5cm with 10cm on the hills. Didn't go into any great detail as per usual.

A succession of light to moderate snow showers today, none of which stuck. Skies will largely clear after midnight, allowing temperatures to drop to -5 or even -6C.

Currently 0.9C.

I am glad that you have had at least something. Barrow to Millom has had light crap all day with temps fluctuating between 0c and 3c.

Nothing in Kendal at all I was told. Odd that it was on the coast only. The odd flake in Hawkshead too though. Kendal cloudy and 1.3c at the

moment. Not had a hard frost yet here. We look to Friday but I feel won't be that spectacular in Kendal.

Strange day today, even though we have quite a thaw going on, we've had plenty of snow flurries all day. We're usually on the wrong side of marginal here!
