I'll probably stay up to midnight and then I feel the forces of nature will overcome me at some stage in the following hour. Alarm will get me up at 6am so will see what the rush hour as in store for me.

Starting to stick to roads and pavements in heavier bursts here! but still quite wet. Not planning on staying up but seeing as I didn't get out of bed til 8 this evening (I was ill!!!) I reck Im gonna be awake all night anyway!

up at half seven for work so got no choice. snow from now on anyway.

I have a choice but if i keep on dedicating anymore time to NW regional snow discussion then i can see myself being homeless come the summer - or have some serious catching up to do!!!

Could well do but this is likely to have great variation in totals, some places will get a good tonking, others will get little and some on low ground may get sleet and rain - lamposting the best way for these showery marginal setups IMO.

You need your dewpoint at or below freezing and temp as close to freezing as possible - key thing is you dont want both rising else that is a bad sign.
