Not sticking here yet but some of the biggest flakes you can imagine, i just hope we dont waste this band and can get at least a pavement covering to give us a foothold before next band.

Just very shortlived moderate sleet showers here barely lasting a couple of minutes. Really need some prolonged and heavier precipitation.

Kirkstone Pass road is closed, at least the fells will be cloaked white again.

Hoping to wake up to a cover in the morning - will wait and see, if I hear the window rattling during the night its a good sign the precipitation is heavy, could do with the wind slightly south of west rather than north of west which tends to favour lancashire and merseyside more..
