Amazing weather outside...... hail, thunder and everything is white out. Wind is very strong.

Now we have sideways snow... cant tell if there's rain in it because its hitting my hand so strongly....

Absolutely. First it puts down a slushy layer and then snow over the top, seen it many times over the years.

Hail just turned to heavy snow here in South Manchester, big flakes. Should have some on the ground by morning but snow will turn back to hail and rain in the afternoon as the warm sector passes through. Hopefully I can dodge those showers.

Should be a real wintry scene across greater Manchester first thing in the morning.
