This winter has gotta be one of the best in the past 10+ years IMBY. So many days of falling snow, settling snow and cold temps (although not reaching too low). Definitely better than December 2010, for here anyway. The norm is for a few days of snow, with barely anything settling just once in a blue moon!

Spitting and spotting a wintry mix in Tenby... sky looking very heavy to the south of here...

Jeez, if only we'd had the synoptics of the last three weeks or so in the heart of the winter!

Showers are forming out the North sea and now heading towards midlands .they be weaker by the time they reach East Wales but i expect to see a lot more cross into Wales on this strong wind.Tomorrow could be interesting as covection will increase. Edited by keithlucky

Nothing at all where I've been in Cardiff today (Grangetown and Splott) Fingers crossed for some over night, but it seems unlikely going by the forecasts now. :(

You have got a better chance of catching some showers especially tomorrow than Swansea and west wales.

Yes watch the showers fade near the midlands now as they regain there strength as they reach mighty Wales, then BRECONS suck them dry lol!great to see covection takes place in front of our eyes.Notice how the showers in east midlands are growing. Edited by keithlucky
