THE FRUSTRATED SNOW LOVER cold.gif

This model that model

It's only a pub run

Don't worry I'm told

The winters only just begun.

Check the lamppost

Check the radar

There's something showing in the North Sea

Oh it's just Anaprop

That's not what they said on the BBC.

Graphics here, graphics there

Never where you want them to be.

It's all been pushed further east

That's not what they said on net weather.tv

It 's an upgrade! No a downgrade!

Only north of the M4 corridor

The 12 z looked good

But the fax chart is raw

And what do you mean

There's no beast in the east anymore!

A warm sector's included

With a slider just for good measure

Azores high to spoil the fun

I thought they said this was a good run!!!!

GFS, ECM, METO,MFI

Best just look out the window

And keep your eye in the sky.

YAMKIN,FERGIE,FRANKINCENSE and MURR

Like gifts from the kings

They'll tell us the score.

Dew points,uppers

Wind chill factor flow

And all I ever wanted was some simple, pure, old fashioned....SNOW! cold.gif

Great, saved me googling ukmo Anul :)

Think I saw a flurry a few minutes ago .... but it may have been fag ash. :)

In the absence of snow reports from Croydon, I felt compelled to check my dim garden lamp, and lo and behold, snow! Very small flakes, falling irregularly, but snow nonetheless - hooray!

My son was one that snowfall...wasn't it Easter weekend? We went for a lovely walk in it, unexpected snow is always the best smile.png

There was indeed snow during the Easter weekend 2008 followed by another fall in the south on the 6th April.

Stared at the patio lights so long there had to be something......and finally I was counting flakes (got to 14, before Mr Scrat told me to shut up, to which I replied "probably not snow, likely your dandruff, have you been sticking your head outside lately?). Well, he must be used to my obsessive behaviour when it comes to the weather?!?!?! off to do a snow dance, that'll pee him off even more mwahhhhh!

Definitely had snow April 2008 as my baby Belle was born on 30th March 2008 and I was gutted not to be going out to play (I mean, what's wrong with taking a 5 day old sledging?) :-)

Well meto pushed light snow back to midnight from 9 but there is almost nothing on radar. I am starting to worry this will fizzle before we get a coating

Do you get the feeling that sometimes the snow flakes only start falling when it know you are looking hard enough?

Can confirm snow in croydon, been out for about an hour, it snowed the whole time, very light, sort of a few flakes a minute type stuff.

So I'm not imagining it then?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure that was when a Wash streamer gave us some thundersnow! Can remember clearly.
