everything is turning white now

and we have real proper snow now - nice big fluffy flakes

oooooooooooooooooooh - LOVELY BIG FLUFFY FLUFFY FLAKES NOW

really coming down - and we are getting a carpet of white now

JINGLE BELLS - JINGLE BELLS - JINGLE ALL THE WAY

Light rain here in Cardiff hopefully those showers dont die out before dark, because that will help bring the dps down as the upper air supports snow.

Dangler I was talking about yesterday has set up, however the flow is more of NW direction so these showers are driven inland:

Had a snow shower here a short while ago, was very light and didn't settle. Next week is looking cold though.

Yes cold to very cold as met office say ,i do not expect much change all the way to April the odd mild break but to hear the met office use the words very cold heed the warning,,they always err on the side of caution and very cold means a return to those horrible biting N Easterlies next week. Hopefully we see another slider like the one that hit the channel islands, but hopefully it passes nearer to us, so we get a late pasting ;) Then a lovely warm up would do me just fine!

you keep going on about this warm up - when - no sign of it on the models - and we have entered the dreaded - MINI ICE AGE - this could go on right the way through to May the way things are going

So a cold March equates to a mini ice age now!

Shame if this cold March fails to produce one decent snowfall, nothing as yet.

nope the general way we are having colder winters and generally cooler temps full stop plus predictions for the next 30 years of the suns lessening energy influence on us means - MINI ICE AGE - just be prepared - it's upon us already

Not sure what a mini ice age is but it's below freezing once again this evening.

Maxed out at 8.4c today an 18c range!

29th day averaging below 0.2mm over the period since mid February means a partial drought for here, no doubt the dry ground as we now have locally has contributed to the severe frosts of late, what with less than 5mm falling in the past month.

Looks like the last hard frost for a while, low of -3.8C last night, still looks chilly for march though with rain/showers maybe some hail weekend
