"Just had a little measure up outside.

10cm in drifts

6cm pretty much standard on the grass

4cm on the Pathways

About 8cm on bins, cars etc and still it comes down unrelenting!"

Er, Paul, I've got enough settling to do tomorrow and I dont mean snow!

I shall apply a Rule 4, if your not careful and is it 1/4 odds or a 1/5.

What do you think this is, a guaranteed Snow Depth race?

Tom.

Right the answer is 7 cms, have I passed the settling course! I'll have £5 e.w. Lucky 15s coming out of my ears by tomorrow night! Pfft.

At work in Lewisham hoping for something is it me or does it look promising for this inner south east London location if mid Essex is in line and winds coming from the north east? Maybe I will actually see something?

Thats me done for the night. Showers look like gradually fading away over the next couple of hours. Maybe a bit longer on the frontal band for those in the south. Good luck to those who have missed out today.

Some bright echoes coming across the Chanel from Cherbourg arcing in towards the SE perhaps Sussex & Kent.

Steve, could this give us further overnight snowfall do you think?

That could be an album cover.

That's a good idea actually, I'm releasing a single called ''Relentless'' in April, not sent off the artwork just yet...mmm

Got caught in it on the A21 on way home at 8pm, REALLY heavy snow, blowing about like crazy, got to hill above sevenoaks on way down to M25 and hardly anyone could get up the hill as were sliding all over the place, people spinning all over. A lot of beamers and mercedes thinking they new better and spinning off. All lanes were covered with snow and on the M25 was not too much better.

Here is a Vid from Tunbridge Wells just after left work:

a couple of pics too: Tunbridge Wells

Is there anything else coming or should us Sussex folks head to bed?

Don't know where you are in Sussex Kate but here in Bognor it is still snowing 3 inches in my back garden and the radar looks to be pushing heavier precip slightly further north from what i can see.

THe angle of PPN from the continent is now NW as opposed to NE earlier but yes it has pushed North a smidge agin ( or pushed the PPN North )

as a result the extreme southern coastal strips are getting battered again- basically anywhere that juts out!!

Amazing on Netweather extra how the wind vectors are literally opposite each other at different altitudes.

The way this is shaping up, I wouldn't be surprised if somewhere ends up with a foot of snow before the night is out, Hastings surely must be close to that ??
