I guess you're still whining about the threads not being split? The thread will be very quiet in not too many days, so why should the admin team waste their time?huh.png

The geography is not that difficult.doh.gif

Not sure what I have missed but I agree that EA should be sectioned off from SE. It does make sense. Steve Murr in Essex? Could you imagine?

Looks like plain old rain out there at the moment. Thought I would see a few flakes by the lampost, not that I'm arsed. Would love the weather of this time last year instead.

For all the lampers, we were never going to see snow until at least the early hours/morn. Patience.

Just looked outside and its snowing lightly (perhaps sleet). Not settling at the moment, but its a start smile.png. Temperature: 2.4 degrees, Dew Point: -1.6, both on a downward trend at the moment. Very much in line with the met office forecast for my location so far.

Yes more sleety here too.

No, I was making the point that although they said maybe a few inches of snow in the SE rather than this mean London it could mean Cambridge

Jeez

Getting the snow to fall further south tomorrow is one thing, but getting it to settle is another. Apparently it's been snowing all day in Greater Manchester but not actually settling, so maybe the case tomorrow - particularly for Greater London. If precip is heavier enough though, then we may see a better case for settling.

Back to sleet and rain here in Hemel Hempstead as precipitation intensity decreased over the last hour or so.

God its that 1 mile away thing again, If it's not St Albans It's Hemel Hempstead.

Damp and cold outside here this evening, with the temperature and dew point dropping slowly. Don't know what to expect when I wake up in the morning, though hopefully something snowy!

East Anglia being sectioned gets my vote. While I'm here I would also like to state for the record that I have uninstalled my so called Rain Alarm App and sent a strongly worded email to its designer telling him in no uncertain terms that his App is a disgrace, and that he should be ashamed of himself. That told him.
