I can't tell cause of a great big snow flake symbol in the way, does it only cover the north part of greaterlondon, or all of it?

Yes sweetdream, not far, but enough to make a difference sometimes. Temps still very marginal at the moment for what I call 'proper snow' although I make it 1.9C now with a -1.95 Dewpoint - so we are slowly getting there!

I think it would be a record breaking event for us as we do not tend to fair well with our location when it come to snow.

Snowing here too, almost an inch "in places" down, you can hear it melting ( the drip drip drip you get with the under melt).

IF things are to align, from coventry/south(roughly) there will be both a precip,stall and or ease of sort, before any migrate southward may contrast an energy, and construction of back band intergration that being well in line with a pepp, of swirl to give a decent chance with alingn, for our area as a whole.and is id,say looking worthy.ie, snow for most at least...and unexpected falls for some.
