If the met office is to be believed then erm, I am getting nothing major. The humidity is in the low to mid 90`s also. Mega MEH.

The channel may be our foe during the Summer but it will be our friend tonight as it will aid the development of precipitation. Essex and Herts looks good for the highest totals as this system begins to pivot and the thames estuary also comes into play

Shows how local it is then, had a bit of sleet, ten minutes of big fat flakes, and then nothing!

The snow on the A10 was that on the viaduct by any chance?

Getting the snow to fall further south tomorrow is one thing, but getting it to settle is another. Apparently it's been snowing all day in Greater Manchester but not actually settling, so maybe the case tomorrow - particularly for Greater London. If precip is heavier enough though, then we may see a better case for settling.

That's my thoughts Nick - even if it does snow, I can't see it amounting to much on the ground...

Edit - in this neck of the woods - aka the south of the Thames.

Snow abit heavier, now started to settle on cars and the borders in my front garden. Paths and roads still soaking wet, cant really see those being white in the morning.

I live half a mile in Hertford direction from the viaduct! And honestly been dry most of the day!

But a friend of mine lives in buntingford and most of this winter they have called saying how heavy the snow is, yet been bone dry here, and that is what a 15 minute journey?

I don't like the look of the next few days, cold and dull. The worst kind without a doubt, I suppose in is late March so for snow here conditions being right are less likely than other times.

Just getting heavier here too and blowing sideways, leaving slushy deposit on cars, looks impressive in the lamp post light!

Yeah I can tell you the wind was viscous tonight over that. I only have a little car and it was drifting from one side to the other rofl.gif

Biggin Hill I'm sure will have a good covering, but down here in SE25 I'm sure'll be mostly slush at best. Be nice to see snow falling nonetheless, even if it doesn't stick.
