It's snowing here, only tiny flakes but it's steady, not flurries.

There looks to be a band of activity heading South in our direction, not too sure if it will carry on down the country or break up as it goes. It's still steady but light snow here, according to the radar we're just on the fringes of the band so perhaps it will get heavier as it passes over???? Nothing behind though so probably won't amount to much.

twister, thought the same about it hitting frome, its snowing here but the main band hasn`t reached and when you look at the runs on rain today it kind of evaporates before it gets to us. it might pep up on back edge which might be enough to send it here and your way

Breezy and dry here this morning, feeling pretty cold in the wind. Sounds like our chances for the end of the week are deminishing with each run. Would love to be proved wrong though!!!

It means a cold weather alert, of which we do have a yellow one.

Just been out with the dogs and my word thats bitter. Small baby flakes blowing around in the wind which has now pepped up now I'm back in the house. I caught a reflection of myself in the door when I went out and realised that any fashion sense (probably very little) just goes out of the window in this weather. I have to say I looked remarkably special in my purple muckboots, black jeans, long knitted jumper, my most amazing padded patchwork jacket, a checked furry trapper hat and knitted capped gloves biggrin.png Temp up to a heady 0.7c

So much potential, but so little snow.

We had nice snow in January and I thought I'd be satisfied for Winter with that. But I'm ashamed to say that I'm not! sad.png

It is frustrating that "others" get huge amounts and yet any potential that we get, such as the end of this week, just seems to fizzle away, the nearer we get to it. I know we haven't yet reached the end of the week, but going on past experience I bet any snow goes elsewhere.

Gosh, what a miserable old bag I am today! rolleyes.gif

Ian Fergusson @fergieweather

W COUNTRY Threat of disruptive snow by Fri-Sat thankfully reduced, albeit still uncertain... @metoffice currently gives it 20% probability.
