Fantastic post from Ian in the Mod Disc thread, well worth a read!

Yeah tis a good read but as ever it is only potential with low risk probable disruption anywhere really from SW to SE/ EA up to Midlands, quite a wide range but as he says worth keeping an eye on, I say don't get excited!!!

I meant really the read itself, rather than the potential.

Sorry I'm being lazy tonight, can I ask what the latest is for snow potential in Devon (Exeter) this week? Is it a down grade or watch this space?

If the fronts make it to the SW, it would largely be rain or sleet at low levels and coastlines. Settling snow could be an issue for Dartmoor, Somerset levels and maybe parts of S Midlands. However too early to state amounts. Cornwall and most of Devon would be wet.

Good morning all. Feel out of the loop as been manic at work. What have I missed.

It's a lighter shade of Groundhog Day today, so hoping the sun might break through at some point.

We all really upset the Mod thread last week, that was fun!

We had a chance at snow Friday with approaching fronts, now looks like that's on Hold until Sunday/Monday, if indeed it happens at all. But UKMO looks good to my eye this morning, ECM a bit dodgy!

Thanks karlos! I did see the trouble you caused in the mod thread last week. You naughty people!! I did laugh a lot though!

Here's hoping for some white stuff. Only one day of lying snow here all winter! If no snow is coming then I need some warmth!!!!

Yes, I must admit I am almost ready to throw in the towel for Winter now. I have stuff I need to get done in Garden! Grrhhh!

If only we had this setup in January!!

Oh deep joy!! Matt Hugo latest

@MattHugo81: Latest EC32 maintains a generally colder than average, but drier than average outlook well into April. Little sign of any warmth.

Pirate fm keep mentioning ' there might be an odd flurry of snow ' I wish!!!!

It's strange though I am at the point now where I would love to see some snow but then I would live to be able to feel some warmth too!!

That is probably the worst kind of weather I could imagine right now.

The only saving grace is, that its looks like staying dry which for some will be good news.
