Saw the local, not good Posted Image

18-22C on the south east coast but go towards the north east coast and it's about 15C with possible cloud all day tomorrow!

This high pressure is bloody awful, it's in the wrong place

We should all be enjoying southerlies with humidity Posted Image

Lovely afternoon for a bit of sunbathing in the back garden..rather glad I'm not well enough to have worked today and have the excuse of needing to sleep my meds off in the sun.

A bit of exciting news in an otherwise not too happy week is that one of my photographs taken in the Woburn Deer park has been chosen as a commended entry in the Woburn Photography competition and will be on display in an exhibition in Woburn Abbey in a couple of weeks time Posted Image

Hope you get well soon Ali and that's great news about the photograph. Chin up Posted Image

Anyone like to hazard a guess as to why, according to the netweather radar it's been raining moderately heavily here in the City for an hour when in reality there has hardly been a spot?

It has me stumped.  I see it's raining elsewhere in an around London though.

My guess is that a lot of it is evaporating before it hits the ground.

Morning Posted Image Thought it was about time I came out of hibernaton, if only to moan about how ruddy cold that blasted NE'ly is! The sun might be shining but the air is cold, and I am seriously fed up with the wind, which seems to have been stuck where it is since February.....

I feel your pain, every morning I cycle to work facing the North, and this spring its been cold in the morning, slow going against the N E wind.

I agree that Hampshire and IOW ain't the SE...we are actually west of Southampton here in Lymington/Tiptoe and we are just about on the  border of the meto's SE/SW  split! At the moment we can hear very very deep rumbles from a long way away (we are three miles from the south coast here)...are we hearing the storm all the way over the channel islands? Obviously very elevated as the sounds are sooooooo deep......

The cloud cover has gone, blue skies again and currently 20c here. That nagging breeze is back again though.

Was so nice here in Brighton, but my little boy went for a nursery trip to ladyland farm and it rained and thundered the whole time they were there : (

Nice here this afternoon after a cloudy morning in which one half of the town had torrential rain and the other half did not! Up to 20.0c mid afternoon once the sun came out.

The wind has really picked up this evening, bringing the temperature down to 12.2c
