What's this cloud all about? I didn't order this.

Hopefully it will break soon, still warm though at 16.8C and not a breath of wind.

Blimey, already 20.0C here! last night was reasonably cool with a 9.5C min, but warming up very rapidly!

 

at 9:05am the temp hit 20.0C, now at 9:40 it's 23.0C

 

Just looked back to the 25th July last year when it reached 27.3C here, and we're are slightly over 3C ahead of this time that morning. I doubt it will quite reach 30C here today, but 28C is probably quite likely. I reckon it's pretty likely somewhere will hit 30C though.

Well we had no problems cycling at 3:30pm for half hour yesterday - lovely ride despite carrying a ton of beer on our backs! Just gotta toughen up a bit - same as you do when its freezing cold (although its def easier in heat than freezing conditions- take this from a regular year round cyclist!).

 

Lovely evening outside without a hint of feeling chilly - such a rare treat in this country. 

For once my house is rather warm and the bedroom very warm - can't lie in with the sun on the place in mornings that's for sure!

Living room never gets above 24c so is very comfortable.

 

Went down to 17.1c outside overnight and is 23.5c already. Hot one coming up!

Just need to get more practise in, but at least I'll never have to lug beer around - can't shift for the (homebrewed) stuff at home!  Today is easily hotter than yesterday and I'll definitely not be setting foot out the door at any point. Think I'm dying already.

26C here already, and a 31C humidex, does feel quite hot and the sun is powerful as well, it's beautiful.

Just about to hit 24C here. Another station nearby is over 27C, but I have to assume that's an error.

reached 26.8c briefly about 10 minutes ago, dropped about half a degree now, expect it to warm up a bit more but there is some annoying high cloud moving in from the west, hope it doesn't cap the temperature too much..

 

Need to beat 27.5C to have the hottest temp here since 2006.

High cloud continuing to slowly advance, and getting thicker. This wasn't forecast and won't be amused if it continues and stops me breaking my record max temp.

 

Temp hasn't risen for the last hour and if anything has started falling slightly at the moment..
