Too hot to sleep, even with fan on - some heavy rain showers with a bit of lightning arrived for midnight; just got up now and heard consistent rumbles in distance. Seems quiet as I type so I am guessing it's all moving east.

That storm over london is producing lightning every 4 to 5 seconds!!

Was in the centre of an amazing storm, only lasted 15-20 minutes in the core but my god!!

Guys I think we have a wall cloud, you can make it out with the brighter flashes! Best storm in years so far, amazing structure and booms

That one over Brentford, NE London and Ashford, Kent are amazing! the echos on them are very impressive. lucky beggars! I can only see the distant flashes and sulk. Posted Image

Storm is superb at moment here in goodmayes really picking up with hail and loads of lightning.

my first 'netweather storm'...

 

 

it looks like a cell is right over me, flashes every ten seconds or so, big ones, small ones, nothing nasty yet but, by cracky its hot outside!

 

before I dozed off earlier, there was some amazing moonlit cloudscapes
