Corn thrips. Posted Image Feels a bit off topic now.

Altocumulus castellanus clouds here too, as per previous photos. Excellent storm signs.Posted Image

Much more interesting to me than waiting for the sex of the latest Royal addition, despite our great leader saying that the whole country was excited. (And I'm neither a committed republican, or royalist, but I'm detesting politicians more and more, as I get older)

Baby boy 8lb 6ozs. Still hot out there.

He he! That's all I'm interested in (apart from the weight) Definitely won't watch the news for the rest of the night now. Will radar watch etc.

Oh christ, i'm on a forum full of royalists!

My aunt has a blood clot in her heart and blood in her urine that's taking more importance than some damn country getting excited over a baby.

Stick to the weather atleast!

Thought you appreciate that, although your interest was greater than mine, told the wife first and she agreed with me, thought I give it a few minutes then told her again, this time she was listening. For your info I got the news from Charlton website, and to think the nasty opposition fans nickname us anoraks or even worse train spotters :-)Still hot and sweaty.

I think I see what Victor is trying to convey, although this is neither the time nor the place he has my sympathy and understanding!

Stats locally 26.3°c and RH 46% cloud cover thin and no convection in sight.

I think it's a time to stay away from mainstream media. I couldn't believe seeing the people, who have been camping outside the maternity hospital for the last week.Posted Image

Would love an old school storm in the night

When you could here the rain and your room lit up with the lightning

And you went running into your mum and dads room and they taught you to count from the flash to the rumble of the thunder to see how far away it was

Wow it's really been that long

I'm 35 now with my own son

I think it's very early days for this Thundery spell, for this part of the world anyway.... There are some tasty things happening just across the channel, and lots of opportunity for it to move.

Re: Royal Birth , yes good news etc, let's not get snippy with each other though eh, it's a family show!

Disappointingly benign looking skies over Surbiton.

Would be much more interesting if instead of Sophie Raworth, they had Barry Scott from the cillit bang ad doing the commentary.

Or maybe the bloke from safestyle windows!

Excellent. Posted Image Home grown storms. Most of us have a great chance this week imho, whether through home grown or imported storms. Best synoptics for years, I think.
