Just tried the sunglasses trick and, though 90% of what cloud there is here is altocirrus/cirrostratus, there is something AC-like appearing to the SW.

Lots of cells firing up behind the main area in NE France? Or is that my wishful thinking Posted Image

Hi Lottie,

Interesting formation re. that cell just west of the meridian and SE of the Cherbourg Pen, with 3 smaller cells to its NE, becoming the main feature as the earlier cells to the NE, now in the Channel start to wane, hopefully!

Here's the meteociel picture over France at the mo.

We've a big problem with those little thunderbugs today......can't remember the proper name for them. Anyone walking through our yard today got plastered in them

Corn thrips. Posted Image Feels a bit off topic now.

Altocumulus castellanus clouds here too, as per previous photos. Excellent storm signs.Posted Image

Much more interesting to me than waiting for the sex of the latest Royal addition, despite our great leader saying that the whole country was excited. (And I'm neither a committed republican, or royalist, but I'm detesting politicians more and more, as I get older)

Especially as he's determined this poor little baby will be queen/king in name only.

Some brilliant rays from the setting sun - must be a lot of dust in the atmosphere for them to show up.

Towers are trying to build across the south east, they may be altocumulus but atleast they are going upwards!
