I will say something though, that shows my own conflict...

Was I happy to have experienced the gale of 1987? Definitely. Would I want a repeat? Probably not.

I do like seeing both sides of a friendly argument. :)

Thank you for the kind words Tamara! Posted Image I think its enriching for people to have a different opinion to yours, just because its different doesn't mean they go agaisnt your own opinion.

I just picked up lunch from my local chinese take away, Sweet chilli prawns with egg fried rice for £3,50 as a lunch special you can't go wrong really!
What was a sunny morning has now turned into slate grey skies with a few dots of blue here and there, oh well.

Agree totally.. but there is a time and a place for everything and Netweather has a place for everything which would in this case be more suitable to a topic being opened in the Serious Discussion thread ....

Warmed up to 12 deg c here now....to wear my UGG boots or not to wear my UGG boots that is the question (as well as what to have for lunch)

Anyway back to the weather...

It's 14.2c here and sunny - lovely day after the early nip.

Looking further ahead - a positive NAO will keep the unsettled theme going for a bit longer yet.

I seem to be doing that quite a lot lately!

Just starting to cloud over a bit here.  Not pleased to see we have rain on the way - typically on one of the 2 days I have managed to get annual leave this half term week Posted Image

Better make the most of the dry weather tomorrow :)

Yay! I think we should go Viral with these! I used them the last two winters and got as adventurous as a 5 dayer at one point! I had to make a couple of extra Magnets with Printable sheets because the Temps were a bit thin on the ground, but I love them! (not Sure my Twitter and Facebook followers felt the same, hey ho!)

Just cut the grass for the last time, as I think I'll struggle in the next few days, with all the rain. :)

It was damp, but okay. No job satisfaction with it though. For me a pure chore. Might have to get a whole load of concrete in next year. :winky:

Looks a little large for my garden. Posted Image A solar powered small robot, that looked similar, might be just the ticket! Posted Image Posted Image

I think clearing up goats mess might be even less appealing. Having said that, I could also have a Jamaican curry if it didn't work out. Posted Image

Last Year I seem to recall we had a 'Weather Emotions Thread' and/Or a 'Why do some feel liking extreme weather is bad' all in the Winter Discussion.. have a look and see if one has spawned yet?
