pub run for saturday has shifted everything further west

81 was a shade chilly

 

my grass needs cutting but going to leave for now

 

gfs 18z has everything further west early

 

then shoves all the cold air in fi too far east

looks like a west to north west flow

 

temps around 8-10 degrees  maybe a shade higher where you get some sun

 

there maybe some drizzly cloudy bits in the afternoon

 

mist and fog early in a few areas to the north of the region

a strong north west wind

 

front over central areas may give some showers

 

note the 528 dam air behind the front as could turn things colder at the weekend

 

 

 

 

120 chart from ecm looks to match at present

Its a very dark morning in dirty Dartford, heavy cloud no rain or drizzle. When I opened the curtains this morning I expected to see thick fog it was that dark. Think I better keep on topic for a few days, so better not do any antidotes.

Had a great Doctor Who weekend myself despite a couple of mishaps at the Excel Centre.

 

Today we have a temp of 4.1c and it's dark with a promising glow to the east.

A frosty start commenced with windscreen de-icing at 2°C and I saw 3°C more widely through Sussex. A lovely weekend with a touch of Autumn colour coming through at last.

Morning Gang,a nice enough start to the week with no frost up my end (pardon?) A "quiet" week looking likely which TBH is most welcomed on the weather front. Amazon Black Friday week so probably not going to get much work done and spend way too much money....

Morning all - dry and bright here, looks like a quiet week weather wise even if it's not quiet on here - I'm getting use to the new look lay out of the forum on my iPad and I've just used that paintbrush thingy at the top of the page and I have pink bits now ....all ready for that pink snow we will be getting in MK !

Nice start to the day, model output looks a little underwhelming, though not really unexpected. Patience is a must as I feel this coming month will be very frustrating to those with a cold and snowy disposition. But I think our window of opportunity will appear mid-way through January and last out the rest of the winter.

Sunny and dry morning here, was awoken by the bins being collected/emptied (would normally be long gone at at work when they arrive), anyhoo it is 3.4 oC and some cloud but plenty of gaps to allow the sun to shine through.

Quite a bit ....on the wagon now until Friday when it's more likely to be pink champagne than snow - I'm off to a very posh winter ball so you never know there might be a snow machine !
