agree actually, I am a winter fan, but this summer weather is decent, not painfully hot, do not need it any hotter

I'm with you both re temperature. The weather we are having is perfect. Warm, but not hot.

Yes from a personal perspective this is warm enough for me to, I struggle to sleep even in these conditions ! And any warmer makes it a nightmare to work outside in..

Anyway a grand morning here, Cloudy with light winds and sunny spells, Temp 13.4c, W/N/W 3mph.

Reached 25.4c here (near Sidmouth, Devon) yesterday which was the warmest of the year so far. Today is cooler with the wind off the sea but is another gorgeous day and in way feels more pleasant than yesterday, with unbroken sunshine and clear visibility, whereas yesterday was very warm and a bit humid with some cloud in the afternoon/evening.

Today has been the first day for a few weeks where a sea breeze from the South Coast has met a gentle breeze blowing against it. The resulting convergence approximately 50 miles inland has caused Cumulus to form since midday and spread out into sheets of Stratocumulus as well as broken Altocumulus. Still it's been and continues to be another very pleasant day with sunny spells.

Bit of cloud first thing this morning, otherwise its been sunny all the way again here. Very warm once more at 22c. Heading back to the Midlands tomorrow and I really don't want to go! Its far nicer here and very Mediterranean like here in this weather (Sorry Midlanders!)

Unusually for recently a rather cloudy start to the day, but it was a getting better sort of day, with sunny intervals before 10, and this was the ongoing theme with period of sunshine and sunny intervals until later afternoon, and sunny since then. No heatwave, but temps low 20s.

All in all, a very unacceptable weather week, and would happily accept this for the rest of the summer, and for those who say this would cause droughts etc, it is not going to happen anyway,

Are there any palm trees in SE Brum then :)

Haha. We can only wish.

Im glad to see it looks quite sunny over the next few days at home because all week ive heard its been rather cloudy. I have got very used to 2 weeks of wall to wall sunshine now! I will not take to inland build up of cloud very well. Haha.

Ditto.

Yesterday had 100% of possible sun here so pretty much the highest daily sunshine total it's possible to get, being around the summer solstice. Today won't quite be like that due to build up of fair weather cloud but it's already warmer and a sea breeze could fend off any cloud build up later.

A relatively cool minimum last night at 8.7c.

Urghhh - in Somerset now and far too much cloud build up. Not used to this inland rubbish!! At least it's warm.

Yeah we got a sea breeze, it was forecast so inevitable though still feeling rather warm even with the sea breeze.
