A little too much cloud for me, no wind so when a cloud gets in the way :wallbash: it's taking forever to shift..... Temps aren't bad though 22.6°c :D

But why is it usually always just the other side of the channel in France they rarely have this issue? They have the English Channel and Atlantic next to them to supply moisture but it seems only the UK always gets it.

Of course, I'm pleased to see Falmouth and Cornwall basking in clear blue skies again though!!!

Cumulus clouds largely disappeared here. Now just a veil of cirrus blocking the strength of the sun. I give up!

Desperately need a sunny day with no ruddy cloud interference to get the other side of me tanned after getting the front done last weekend. Next opportunity is Wednesday after today's fail. Still very pleasant outside but all the jobs I need to do are inside. What a frustrating day.

Enjoy the rest of the day folks.

Certainly is...sun increasing feeling very warm indeed. UV levels also peaking. Wonder how many are doing their roasts on a BBQ :)

Been there, done that, soaking up the sun. Really nice to see the sun between noon and 4pm for once!

What a fantastic day, must have had at least 14 or 15 hours of sunshine. Never more than a few clouds, and there was very little wind save for a brief spell around 7-8pm. The sort of day that was common in the 90s but very rare since 2006.

An estimated 15 hours of bright sunshine here today! 16 hours is the absolute possible limit at this the time of the longest day length.

One okta of cloud but this is quite interesting. It looks like Ac Cas. but is too low IMO. So then must be high type 1 Cu. A bit of a reporting nightmare.

temp 13C

Wind NNE light

Pressure 1013mb falling.

Well its 12 days without rain for this part of Devon now which is quite fantastic. However the water butt is near dry and the veg need a good soaking. Looking like Thursday the weather will finally break. Would be nice for a day of rain to give everything a drink then back to what we have now!

A max of 22.6c yesterday and a min of just 9.5c. Getting some good diurnal temperature ranges lately. Currently 21.9c. Feels very warm and humid, urghh, think today might be the worst yet.

Some nice convection building especially over the Beacons.
