I reckon there could be a few surprises tonight. After all we are still have the plume right on us, and with some activity pepping up over Cornwall and south of there we might get caught out.

I'm thinking that too though it doesn't really feel that bad.

Sheffield shield having a look at the remains of previous thundery shower. Too shred or not too shred. It may let it through as it doesn't look threatening.

Got some cool videos of convection around my area, I will upload them later, but it does seem today that there was a cap which has limited potential, hopefully tomorrow bodes well...

Looking at the EURO4, I wonder if tonight will see something similar to last night?

Definitely keeping my eye on this!

This looks interesting! :D

Something is trying to develop to my south east at the moment. The base is certainly getting darker each time I look at it and the top seems more organised. Won't affect me here but interesting to watch anyway.

Gone dark to the SW here as the heavy shower PIT mentioned earlier arrives. It's still got an intense rain core to it but hasn't had any electrical activity for an hour now.

Indeed...well it's actually immediately to the east of me...so places such as Walsall and Cannock will be seeing this one if it comes to anything.

Got this to my SW. Not sure if its anything to get excited about, but it looks like an anvil cloud forming. Sorry for the rubbish photo.

Let it come through, I could do with a bit of wetness to cool me down... ;):)

I can see that from here too with what looks like Alt Cas.Certainly sferic activity in Biscay now which looks to be developing quite quickly - a bit of overnight convection may be on the cards for the south as suggested by the EURO4

EURO4 output interesting for Cornwall tonight and other parts of the SW, suggests some showers breaking out later this evening and pushing this way. Have a doubt they would be thundery though as it looks like there wont really be much potential out there. Perhaps the best chance is down here, closest to the Atlantic where some instability is shown.

Sheffield shield can't be bothered to shred the shower so it's raining. Any Thunder I won't hear as I've got headphones on listening to the Eagles.

Does look that way. I'm not too bothered because I had a thunderstorm last night.
