Absolute joke as usual, every single weekend sunny spells and 20c+ forecast and instead a massive sheet of unforecast stratocumulus swamps us not breaking up till Monday.

Sunday due to be the brighter warmer day I reckon Conor

It was crystal clear till at least 2am after yesterday's cloud cleared from the North: where the hell has this muck come from? Looking from the satellite it seems to be moving W-E and has now covered all of England and Wales: it's not North Sea grot then. It has crossed the Welsh mountains and Pennines as though they weren't there.

Was lovely and clear overnight and this morning, Now turned cloudy Temp 13.2c.

Was nice to wake up to a chilly start and fog. Makes me feel all festive inside.

I think the cloud had it planned all along to ensure our weekend would stay cloudy! (At least it's not too cool, and if TonyH is right, then hopefully tomorrow will see the sun wear it's hat).

Weak fronts trapped in the high to blame for the cloud, little wind and diminishing sun strength probably not helping either now we are almost into October..

Cloudy most of the day here with patchy light drizzle mid afternoon, Cloud is starting to clear now the sun's going down.

Clear sky with fog/mist earlier with a temp of 12C and calm. Very recently an amorphous sheet of Sc has appeared. One of those days when estimating the height is quite difficult.

Cloud finally broken up here to give hazy sunny spells though not getting hopeful yet, was same last Sunday then grey by 11, let's see if today can beat the curse?

More Sun here today than during all of yesterday.

 

Clouds are trying to edge in from South East again, so a case of wait and see if it lasts.

What a lovely day  It is hazy at times but also some nice clear breaks making it very pleasant indeed.
