Snow showers brushing through the south of our region over the next hour, unless the Pennies kill them.. Not enough to amount to anything (dusting at a best). Keeping an eye on that band of precipitation pushing south. Still think it will fragment and weaken for southern and western areas (so a little if no snow) although could be okay for East/North Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Sleety to low levels however those with decent elevation *may* get a cm or two by morning (Lincolnshire Wolds, North York moors good areas).

Some further snow possible Sunday night, albeit light. Then again Tuesday. Wouldn't go further than that (or past the weekend)

Apart from the odd trough development in the northerly(which may surprise) tues looks good for the east, and even centrl and western areas should receive a covering before the winds slacken imo. But  east coast could be good 8)

Is there a particular trough, that is bringing the ' true Arctic air ' down tomorrow ? Or a gradual filtering process as the day progresses ? Thanks In advance guys..

A dusting up here, I'd imagine it was rain lower down.

Snow down here but didn't settle.

Hubberton, close to Sowerby bridge. Why not use the caps button properly and question marks? ;)

Can you edit your profile and put your location in there? It makes this thread much easier. :)

Skies as clear as you like and currently -0.8c. Strange to think that it could be raining in a few hours.

Dew point -1.4C, air temp is +0.2C, conducive of snow but everything rises later tonight.
