These showers albeit quite light seem to be heading quite a long way West already.

I might even see a flake!

I was just about to post the same thing! Very surprising really. Thought the winds were still northerly today? They dont seem to be dying over land either, in fact slightly building as they are coming west. Certainly on course for Leeds and Sheffield too!

I get the feeling that Leeds will be a little too far west, although we may fair better on Wednesday. As for my home location of Haworth, I think too far west for any action, but I shouldn't complain as saw enough snow from the last two North Westerlies. It is time you Easterners got some of the white stuff :):cold: :cold:

radar looking like the showers are going to stay well to the north of here, which is a shame, temps etc heading inthe right direction for snow, currently 0.7c, humidity 79%, dew point -2.3c wind from the north with a chill of -1c

Had a couple more snow showers, We're just the wrong side of marginal at the moment though with a dew point of 0.7C.

Hopefully it'll drop a bit after dark.

Nice seeing the snow though, it's just not laying (yet!).

It sure is although looking at the radar I can't see it lasting for long. What's your thoughts?

It looks like they're going to die out soon yes, but its hard to tell for sure. These showers are forming out of nowhere and radar coverage is quite patchy to our North.

Hopefully not though as we've all waited long enough!

Any chance of the showers spreading west? Had a few bits of snow in the air and gone overcast.

This is probably an example of get the cold in and surprises pop up! METO warning and text forecast isnt for showers until tonight. yes it does say theyl drift inland but i was thinking more overnight. This looks like a bonus band lol!

They are not far off Sheffield and Leeds now, amazing really. Cant get any more inland than that haha!
