Just on my way home and there is a a slight coating of snow just as you head north out of Leeds City! :) I imagine that the further out you go, the more of a covering there is!

However, a word of warning for anyone who's heading out early tomorrow morning! The snow from earlier, especially the stuff which melted initially before later sticking has made every single untreated surface an absolute ice rink. This is probably some of the worst Ice I've seen in quite a while. Even surfaces which look okay are not!

If sky's stay relatively clear tonight, I'd urge extra care in the morning!

1cm here. Means a full covering of snow over everything, so it looks pretty for the few hours before it melts :)

Looks like there might be another small band of showery snow heading into the Leeds area imminently?

Hopefully just a taster of what is to come into the weekend and next week!

Well that shower put a dusting down! I don't know how far it'll run into the rest of Yorks though?

Snowing in the centre of Leeds on and off quite heavily, not sticking. Still given its not meant to be snowing, its a bonus!

Heavy snow shower has increased the snow cover from dusting to 1cm

Heavy snow at work South leeds. Radar sees narrow clump of precipitation covering us. Not sure how long it will last for as its being formed off the Irish sea

Do love how the future weather pattern has changed.

For example BBC website is now showing snow every day from tomorrow for here for the next 10 days, except on Sunday :) Wont happen but the prospects for future Snow for us look good.

Potential forecast if GFS came to fruition:

15th: 6C/1C
16th: 3C/-2C
17th: 2C/-3C
18th: 0C/-4C
19th: -1C/-5C
20th: -1C-9C
21st: 0C/-9C

Possible heavy snow on a couple of days as well.

But I don't want to jinx it.
