Well looking at current charts, I can see that showers are shown to push through tomorrow afternoon and evening. These are expected to be sleet and snow, as were back in cold air. Same again Friday hopefully.

The METO warnings page is a bit of a mess atm, with overlapping stuff but Yorkshire is in the snow warning when you look so its just a case of radar watching tomorrow afternoon and evening to see if the showers push in or not :)

Can't see any snowfall for yorkshire tommorow to be honest. Looks like a Wales Midlands event and Ireland scotland.

For snow, it will be a matter of watching the radar to see what's coming I think. These set ups are notoriously difficulty to forecast and we may well be pleasantly surprised, especially for those higher up in the Pennines.

Personally at our house I'm more worried about the Wed/ Thurs wind event being high in the lee of the Pennines myself so I'll be

closely watching the storm as it comes in to see if its following the forecast track/ timings/ pressure.

I wouldn't worry about what the forecasts are showing, things can and propbably will pop up at short notice.

On the latest GFS looks like anything snowy in the next couple of days getting shielded by Pennines anything coming west is landing on the west side :-(

Got my eye on the disturbance moving through Eire at present any deviation north and it could get interesting.

If that misses the heavy snow showers following will not. Many opportunities for surprise snowfall over the next 7 days

I wonder if any of the precipitation just coming over wales now will make it to us later in the day or fizzle out ?

That big area/trough working its way in from Wales looks great. Heading ENE I think so Sheffield and Leeds should get it. Please let it come! Its already all snow over Wales so us proper inland should do well :D

As feared, looks like it might just fizzle out before it gets there, Boo !! The Pennine shield doing the dirty
