A good covering here, best set off to work early, bound to be twice as much snow at other side of town towards Sheffield.

Patches of precipitation seem to be intensifying as the push northwards. Our region seems to have done well this winter, two good snow events so far!

Parts of our region may have done well, but it's 24 months now since we've seen lying snow of any kind. It's a big region and the eastern and southern parts of it have done anything but well this winter, so far.

Still snowing lightly in Barnsley, and we now have a good covering - maybe 3-4 cm. Anyone know what the roads are like in Chesterfield...just about the head off to work.

weirdly, the main roads are starting to cover now, despite that they hadn't with all the overnight snow

I take it back (slightly) snowing in strensall laying on the cars and grass. Not enough to take jr to school on his sledge though. Not without ripping out the bottom of it!
