The next 3 days look glorious for the NE with lots of sunshine, light winds and temperatures close to or slightly above 20c

The wind is still nagging off the North Sea this morning, will be good further inland and Friday might just hit 20C even here.
Another ground frost this morning, I'm losing count!

Away from immediate coastal areas. Temperatures here will struggle to reach 20℃ with the winds coming straight off a 'cool' north sea.

Another glorious day coming up here in the NE should be a bit warmer on the coast as well with a lighter breeze

Looking at the models we may escape the rain on Saturday, though temps will be well down with low teens rather the high teens / low 20's on the cards

Before that, more warmth today and tomorrow and more BBQ opportunities

Still no 20 here, 18.7C this afternoon at 14:14

Quite surprising really, because wind is more in the south today.

Nope, still nowhere near warm. Only reached 14.8℃ here on the coast today with a stronger 'breeze' than yesterday..!! The wind is now attempting to come from a southerly orientation as opposed to a straight easterly so maybe the temperature might pick up but now peak heating has come and gone its not looking likely.. I have enjoyed being out today gardening in wall to wall sunshine but i'm sure if the work was light I'd have felt that chilly breeze.

It kept spotting here but not recorded anything.
I noticed humidity was around 75% when it was raining which explains it.

I'm off into Northumberland tomorrow and instead of the usual route along the A1, we're going west to Hexham then up onto the A68 then over some of the hills on the B6341 as there's some great vantage points along that route. Hopefully will catch a storm on the way but more hopeful on the way back. will post photos if owt materialises.

Temperature bouncing around like a rubber ball here on the coast. Around 08:30 it was around 18℃ then an onshore breeze developed and knocked the temp to 16℃. The wind direction has veered to the south now and the temp is currently 20.2℃. Ganna be a wa'am un the day, like..!!

It is surprisingly windy here but at about 21C already very pleasant.
Have some hay cut and it's drying out exceptionally fast.
