I'm not sure what to think of it. Definitely one of those occasions when you have to read between the lines.

Definite disconnect between what was said and the maps almost as if the Met Office think the block will hold longer than the models.

 

Don't know what impact this will have but the GFS 18Hz has the front stalling quite a bit more on Tuesday. could be good news in short term (don't like what follows)

A chilling night out there. My station showing -2.1°c now. Dew point -3.6°c.

Widely -3c across a good bit of Carmarthenshire tonight.

Bitterly cold here. I'm around 75% certain that snow is guaranteed in the form of showers in most areas away from the coast tonight.

The first shower delivered a light rain / snow granule mix. Eased off now.

Temp 0.3. Dew point still -1.6.

This could make for some very slippery conditions.

Reports of hail along the coast and Thunder reported in Haverfordwest and Fishguard.

18z euro 4 showing good signal for snow in parts of the south east at 6am, could be a surprise for some.

Also, some of those showers are turning very pokey indeed as they hit Pembrokeshire.
