Sleet for half an hour this afternoon before it all cleared to the south east. More precipitation of some sort heading this way in the next couple of hours by the look of the radar.

A thin cover of snow here above 300m after a short spell of moderate-heavy snow around 1700-1730. The snow was accompanied by one flash of lightning and a rumble of thunder at 1715.

Thought there might be some comments on the snow warning for tomorrow morning, or maybe folk are just not interested in 20 minute spells of sleet anymore?

Been a sleety mix of rain and snow here. Still personally a lot better than pure rain I suppose.

It was crystal clear till 5am but the temperature failed to drop below 2C. Then it started raining, no sleet at all. And I see its snowing in other places.

What is wrong with this town at the moment? It wont freeze even on the clearest of nights, and it wont snow when it will in other places.

Looks like we've had a bit of a snow shower, which I managed to miss, but nothing to get excited about.

Still, makes a change from drizzle :)
