Snowing here x

Really? Just looked out, just patchy cloud in an otherwise clear evening. Nothing close on the radar either.

Hope that heavier band over north wales doesn't fizzle out as it comes across. I think it's the feature that popped out of knowwhere in Scotland earlier

Absolutely bone-dry with no wintriness here, but then you knew that. :p Still, some interest in the big area of precip just coming ashore in N Wales now. If (HUGE if) it can reach here without dying out/being rain/swerving at the last second for no obvious reason (or all three) then there might be some interest here later.

Alex Deakin's extended forecast on the BBC News Channel didn't hold out much interest IMBY except for the possibility of Tuesday's feature hitting this area. It won't, of course, and even if it does it'll find some way to be rain, but at least there's still hope! :) (Not much interest for the E Mids either, except for the eastern fringes getting showers from the North Sea at times.)

Fizzling out just as they reach here giving us nothing more than a few flakes in the wind. Clear skies as far as can be seen to the northwest now.

Need something bigger and meatier on that radar!

Pretty sure it will as im in the dry bit...

Next point of interest has to be 6am tomoz morning. Gfs has upgraded it on the 12z and again on the 18z. Still a slight doubt over sleet or snow though

We've got no chance of anything as we're currently downwind of Telford!

I think everyone is looking at the wrong bit? Look to the big chunks up in Scotland and then look at the 18z precipitation charts, there has been a huge short term upgrade overnight for the chance of snow.!!

Oh, that midnight map is amazing: there is a teeny tiny gap in the snow where it's just rain directly over me! :D

weak easterly still being modelled for thurs, could well bring snow in off the north sea, ideally though need the setup further north

Still snowing, has managed to leave a sugar coating on the paths and even the road outside. Will we finally get an air frost tonight?

Doubt it unfortunately, milder upper's moving down around 3am.

yeah clearly shown on meteociel, for my location, and looking at that precip chart earlier, snow followed by rain for west, all snow for shaky and crew
