Showers just missing me and swinging into north Liverpool at the last min. Frustrating but just need to be patient.

Ooh yes get in!! Really heavy snow and bloody hell just heard this right strange noise...then when i looked on camera it was like a right hurricane wind coming through! That was quite scary

It looks like the showers are passing under the chorley area and into the Liverpool area.

Latest BBC forecast graphics now has snow over Liverpool for early hours of tomorrow

There's a nice area of showers just south of IOM which looks like swinging in toward the Manchester area

Sorry if this has already been mentioned , but the 12z EURO4 is a big upgrade for the Manchester area.

It shows temps dropping rather than rising towards midday tomorrow, and shows snow accumulating.

A bit late in the day for model talk given the event is already underway, but promising nonetheless.

The likes of Liverpool and Cheshire were predicted to stay dry for most of this evening by the BBC and Meto. It's only at 3am that the snow is forecast to start here.
