Just outside Carlisle at Rockcliffe has had a very good covering of snow already :(

Have you not had any snow today? the radar has shown heavy ppn moving over you in the past 6 hours.

That shower that came in over Blackpool just came almost directly over here, wind really picked up, sound of hail on the window, by the time I got up to see.....rain....possibly a tiny bit sleety...but mainly rain...

THUNDERSNOW!!!

Had that at 345pm....woohoo....lights just flashed and huge bang here....loking outside heavy snow...... Car alarms just gone off....

Wow instantly laying.... Lots of car alarms going off.... At least 1cm.....

Ive had loads of sleet showers and the odd snow shower.

Over the last hour I've had about 2 heavy snow showers not settling as yet. Slight dusting in places. Hope it gets better later. What about you

Radio 2  - road closures around Kendal - the A6 - also Shap down to one lane on the M6.
