Best since December 2010.

Yeah, we seem to do OK in Stockport for snow falling but because we are essentially a huge slab of concrete in the second biggest urban zone in the UK it very rarely actually sticks on all surfaces. Best since Feb 2012??

Snow is thawing fast now and temps have climbed up to 2.4c and more importantly DP are now at 0c. It looks like the South of the region and Cumbria are doing quite well out of this whilst for the rest of the NW it's a case of more of the same as last week I'm afraid.

The heavyish snow shower we had just before turned more sleety it's still coming down

and keeps alternating between sleet with a few flakes and then proper snow, wish it would make it's mind up

It's just nice to see white stuff falling from the sky instead of rain. Hail sleet and snow love it, getting a nice covering can't complain
