about 2cm... not bad and looks good for today/tonight into tomorrow :) tonight is going to be dodgy with ice...

Surrey sorry to be a pain, but as I'm working now I cannot get time to look at the GFS precipitation charts, I wondered if you have seen them and whether they look good for us tomorrow into Thursday when we get the NE/E'ly

Snowing in sandwich, not settling this time, I'm quite close to coast, usually round this way a mile or two inland and it does settle

It is very annoying, isn't it? Shower after shower of rain and sleet on Sunday but now it's cold enough for snow, it's all going elsewhere!

We had some sort of precipitation here in Lowestoft last night, not that I wasted any time looking out for it - I was 90% sure of not waking up to any sort of covering. No evidence of snowfall, but car was frozen and a sod to open!

Tiny flakes here in MK, you might be able to see them against the bricks.

I haven't measured the depth yet, maybe nearly two inches.

2cm tops here in sarf London, after a lull snowing lighty again.

Winds turn more northerly again later and through Wednesday, with GFS showing showers dying back to coasts, though the model didn't pick up the inland extent of snow overnight and the fax charts this morning show troughs moving down in the flow which could bring showers inland, though look more marginal daytime for snow.

When it finally got to me, it was wet snow followed by rain followed by great big flakes in the heavy bits followed by more rain.

A light smattering over snow everwhere that is patchy. Certainly can't do anything with it. We must have caught the outer edge.

Interesting Fax Chart for 12z Thursday Nick, that says to me possible a more organised band of Snow from the NE As opposed to showers with that trough alligned at the perfect angle, probably snow in the morning followed by showers in the afternoon.

All eyes to Thursday and Friday it seems for more general snow for some in the SE
