There is a large shower train currently in the estuary heading for NW Kent I think. Will that be snow?

Looking at radar looks like kents going to get some fairly heavy showers, very slight covering here overnight, think any showers here will be rain or sleet during daytime.thurs looks very cold with strong north east winds

Sorry to be a party pooper, but tomorrow's snow has been downgraded now to rain and sleet by Carol Kirkwood. So the heavy showers forecasted don't look like happening. Temperatures look too high at 6c. But who knows?

GFS model predicted this snow event a few days ago, but I remained cautious as they are not always correct. They stuck to their guns and the rest is history.

MetO were late with this snow event until yesterday, so don't pay too much attention to their forecast right now.

GFS shows snow for the SE most of today on and off.

GFS is also showing more snow on Thursday. Let's see how this one pans out.

Just had a light snow shower here which gave a brief dusting. So gutted were not getting a meaningful easterly as we haven't had a decent covering in years.

Certainly has that Rain/Sleet and Wintry Mix Feel this morning here if anything falls, not holding my breath at all.

Have seen more whiet frm frosts than what we had overnight so unless your an ant around these parts you are not going to throw a snowball.

The ground last night was rock hard from 24hrs of -4c Dewpoints which is why it had no problem settling last night, if only we could have got those Dp's late last week when the heavy Precip was falling, does not take a rocket scientist to know how all the decent spells have started with Scandi Highs and negative dewpoints sowing the seeds for the ground to be ripe.

Enjoy further inland as you might squeeze out more snow than slops
