7c colder air still yet to reach here, and of course by the time it does, the band of rain/sleet and possibly snow for those that live in the clouds, will be long gone.  Good signs of high pressure making more of an influence later next week... ready for Spring now.

Get the feeling that if I am going to see anything wintry from that here is from the tail if it survives.

I think the best chance is from the showers tomorrow morning.

Rain clearing from here also but only until the second band affects us within the hour. This is the one that gave snow in Ireland but even if it turns to snow it won't last long.

Its raining and its getting sleety here.

If its getting sleety there, we should be in business earlier than expected.

Netweather says torrential snow for this evening.....

Forget it! Cumbria is getting the heavy stuff.

It seems the second band/tail is fizzling out according to radar. :(

Going back to this model you can see how wrong it's got the northern extend of the precipitation! Cumbria was supposed to be dry but they are the ones getting the heavy precipitation. Even at short range models can get it so wrong!
