Heavy Snow showers widespread and even to low levels near the coast, perfect angle of attack.

I won't get too excited until the time nears. It is likely to downgrade.

Well the rain cleared this morning to sunny 10 degrees, went to southport, lord street shopping this aft, glad i put me winter coat on, high winds and very bitter it was, temp tumbled to 5 degrees on way home at 6pm.....got back went to war horse pub for a meal, 4 degrees now....

Already told someone, to get their sledge out in Stockport on Tues 3rd of March to friday 6th march, and all we will be stuck with here is drizzle and a pain in the ass cold wind

Yes the story of the Winter, the models slowly dropping the idea of a good cold spell. My Winter interest is waning now.

Not convinced we'll see much ppn on Monday and Tuesday, might manage a light shower but it'll be the same as the last few times when Ireland and western Scotland got hammered and we stayed dry for the most part.
